Glass is a challenging material to be restored because of its transparency. In most of the cases it can be very successfully restored using specially developed adhesives and resins.

Here is an example of archaeological glass, around 2000 years old. The wall of the glass is "egg-shell" thin.

In this instance the broken glass of this object was bonded with epoxy adhesive, the missing areas were filled with green tinted resin and finally the object was hand-polished.

This glass figure of a horse was restored using epoxy adhesive. The missing areas were filled and finally hand-polished.
